CORE SAMPLER
The core sampler allows us to acquire a profile of your soil, which can be used to verify soil characteristics to assist in a EM Survey, or to help determine factors affecting readings from your Sentek moisture probe.
The coring tool is capable of extracting self-contained cores to a depth of 2m in most soil types and 3.5m in sandy or light clay soils.
The same equipment with a specialized tip is used to extract the core and install the Sentek access tube in one process.
UPDATE:
We have now added a auger function - this allows us to use the standard direct push / hammer method and the lower impact auger option.
With this feature we can auger and install the SENTEK access tube in one action.

EM & Core samples
After completing am EM38 soil survey we can identify the different soil boundaries based on changes in soil conductivity. From this we can extract a soil sample from each zone which can be used to attain management zones.
We would also recommend locating pits within the targeted areas which allows the results to be representative of the entire block.

AUGER OPTION
IPV can also do auger installs, this allows us to do deep slurry installs.
This method enables installations over 4.0m, with depths of 6.0m in sandy & light loams.
